Description
This unique and one of a kind pendant was handmade with solid sterling silver and a super seven gemstone. Super 7 is called this because it's a stone that contains seven different minerals including Amethyst, smoky quartz, clear quartz, cacoxenite, goethite, lepidocrocite and rutile crystals. This is a rare mineral found only in Brazil. This is a 13 carat gemstone and with all of it's unique inclusions and textures it reminded me of a reflection of a pond at dusk. I created sterling silver leaf accents to place above it to finish the scene. The top of the stone is polished but it is not completely smooth as there are many inclusions that add texture and interest to this gem. I created a heavy prong setting for it with an open back to allow light to shine through accentuating this natural stone. The entire piece was polished to a high reflective shine and the bail will accomodate up to a 6mm chain.
This pendant does not include a chain. You can purchase a sterling silver cable chain which we will cut to order in your choice of length for $1.50 per inch.
