This unique pendant was handmade with solid sterling silver and a gorgeous natural turquoise stone from the number 8 mine in Crescent Valley, Nevada. I created a bezel setting for the stone and placed it on top of a heavy silver base which I sculpted from sterling silver, hammering a radial pattern as well as a dimensional shape to catch the light beautifully. This was polished to a high shine and then oxidized to bring out the unique hammered lines that radiate from the center.
